Soleseife is the German name for soap made with salt water. With Himalayan brine specifically, it is thought to provide increased circulation, antiseptic effects, soft skin and reduction in fluid retention because of the mineral retention in production. Salt water is also a natural detoxifier, as the salt absorbs the toxins from the skin. This German soap requires the Himalayan salt be dissolved before the soap is made, and not added in its crystalline form afterwards, so it is not scratchy or crumbly, but smooth-textured & creamy white. It has all the benefits of a dip in the ocean, and contains a generous amount of 100% pure virgin coconut oil, so that the skin is not left dried by the salt’s natural drawing properties, but instead moisturised from the extra coconut oil added. Scented with beautiful lavender essential oil, is calming to the senses.
