Calendula has been used throughout history in skin preparations, prized for its ability to combat dry & damaged skin. It is also known for promoting the fast healing and regeneration of the skin thanks to its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties. Applying calendula balm topically may help decrease inflammation and encourage the healing of wounds, burns, eczema and other inflammatory skin conditions.
Our calendula balm is made with calendula herb that we organically grow on our property here in the Dandenong Ranges, infused in extra virgin olive oil. It also contains other wonderfully nourishing oils such as jojoba, sweet almond oil and unrefined organic shea butter.
Apply as needed, massaging well in to hands, heels, elbows, and dry patches of skin. This balm is deeply moisturising, so a little goes a long way. Scented with essentials oils known for their skin healing benefits; lavender, frankincense, geranium and bergamot, all combine to also give this balm a beautiful scent.
